New Clients

Prior to beginning service, one of our qualified Whitaker dog managers will meet you and your pup for an in-home temperament assessment
and full Q&A opportunity. This allows your pup to have a familiar face on their first day, and gives both you and the WDDC team a chance to
make sure we are a comfortable fit for your pup.

Once your dog is ready for their first day at daycare, they will go through a probationary week during which time they get to acclimate to
the pick-up and drop-off process, meet the staff, and make new dog friends in a slow and controlled environment. If your dog experiences
any comfort or social issues during that week, we’ll work together with you to determine if daycare is the right fit for them. Of course we want all dogs to be able to party with a bunch of friends away from home, but we always want to have a safety first mindset with all of our WDDC
pups.

After the first successful week of dog daycare parties we then strongly suggest setting up a regular schedule for your dog- just like humans,
dogs need structure in their lives to be happy and healthy! We are looking forward to meeting you and your pup!

VACCINATION SERVICES:
In order to provide the safest environment for our dogs to be able to play, all dogs participating in social activities should be vaccinated to protect against communicable diseases. All Whitaker pups are required to be current on the following vaccines: DHPP (a combination vaccine including protections for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, & Parainfluenza), Rabies, Boredetella,

WDDC partners with several local vaccination providers, and can assist you in getting missing vaccinations for your pup. If you need assistance getting up to date vaccinations, please let us know in your application.
